The New York Times, over the weekend, published quite a good piece. It featured multiple photographs of Neely 10 or more years ago when he was, had something of a reputation among subway riders as a Michael Jackson impersonator. But basically the times before he seems to have really gone off the rails in terms of mental health and drug abuse. And so it was sort of the framing of the article sort of sentimentalized him.
