China Supports Iran in Developing a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

China says it will remain steadfast in developing friendly cooperation with Iran and advancing a China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership. They say no matter how the international and regional situation changes, this is a reference to the fact that China knows that the US has been trying to destabilize Iran. This meeting was I think clearly the first step toward the meeting in March between Iran and Saudi Arabia negotiating peace. It's all about integrating Asia, challenging the petrodollar, challenging US hegemony and expanding the Belt and Road Initiative.
