The Importance of Critical Reading Skills
The head canning era was when we could take parts of ourselves that mattered to us outside of the gender of it all and imprint that onto someone that we related to. Now, like now everything is so much more explicit. I think a lot of young people have been failed by the American education system but also just generally did not grow up in a world with a lot of importance placed on critical reading skills or like contextual analysis skills. Like my advice is not to like show up to your job interview and be like, here's my pronouns, here're my gender. And again, like the girls that know will know.
