Are You Defeating My Pastor?
Mike Downey: I was surprised at how many people feel like when you describe spiritual abuse that they say, whoa, wait a second. You just described my pastor. How could you be so accurate there? Is this a deliberate strategy that somehow circulates? Or is this some sort of psychological condition, the theological nature of the fall? Why do abusive pastors seem to do the same things? He says it's one of those almost creepy mysteries of the whole thing because it's so similar.
