The Importance of Intuitive Thinking
The book is broken down into five parts. The first part introduces the concept of System 1 and System 2, which respectively produce fast and slow thinking. Second part updates the study of judgment heuristics and explores a major puzzle: Why is it so difficult for us to think statistically? Part three is we're going to spend a fair amount of time talking about overconfidence. Daniel says his views have been influenced by Nasm Taleb, the author of the Black Swan.
