Nigeria this month had its sixth elect since the transition o e civilian rule in 19 99. This was a contest between two very flawed candidates, president buhari and former vice president atiku bu bukar. The intention was that those results were going to be transmitted electronically, but they didn't have the legislation to get that approved. And for a lot of different reason s, they tried to incorporate technology. I watched a lot of people put their thumbs on a smart card reader, and they couldn't read it.
