The Legacy of the Bitter Contest Between Obama and Hillary Clinton in 2008

Biden was chosen for a reason most vice presidents can go on to get the nomination. The party was moving in Obama's direction. It was more liberals. So why would they go back to Hillary? Why didn't they go for Biden in 2016? Well I think it isn't entirely clear that Obama was ever really willing to back Biden against Hillary Clinton.
