The Importance of Confidential Confessions

There's real anger at the Catholic church. And it does seem to me there's a sense of almost stamping the foot and saying, you don't have the right to withhold anything from us anymore because we don't trust you. The church says that this is this is an area in which the state's power does not does not extend. It's but to the person who doesn't believe in God and unfortunately that is a more and more common argument. So, I mean, here's something we argue about here at Catholic answers.
