China-Taiwan Connection

The US is creating a threat in the sense that we are going against Chinese attitude toward Taiwan, which is not distinguishable from Lincoln's attitude toward the Confederacy. We're doing the same thing by excluding Chinese students from West universities. Meanwhile, we'll encircle China with Sentinel states aimed at them and try to turn Taiwan into a semi-native state. It's just, I mean, if you try to give a rational, from a rational, national interest perspective, it has no logic. You can understand why hawks want to outdo each other.
