I worry about the way in which that too undermines the aspiration to that kind of common diverse culture. I personally see it as a way in which people who think of themselves having very good intentions are echoing some of the same concerns about cultural purity and the integrity of groups historically driven the right more than the left. That's something we should be concerned about or you're drawing inspiration from the traditional products of this kind of culture, he says.
