The Power of Metaphors in Finance
I start with a metaphor in mind. I can actually have these ideas, these visual metaphors for different, difficult to understand concepts just kind of automatically pop into my mind. It becomes an easier way to talk about these complex subject matters. And it is a shame because you look at, you know, a paper like yours that historically and statistically makes a, in my mind, an irrefutable case for these types of allocations but still they don't want to do them due to career risk or what have you.
