In orthodonix, there's a common belief of not treating the mandible until puberty. But i would say treatment doesn't have to be something like a functional appli. Treatment can be looking at all the habits that are going that are at play, that are preventing it from growing forward. Like digit sucking, like a lower lip, entrapment, like speech, like a tongue tie, like swallow,. what's happening might be contributing to lack of mandibular growth, mouth breeding.
