You Should Always Be Yourself
In East Asia especially Japan seems to be like the paramount case of this but the way you speak about yourself and to others is really strongly related or dependent on the relationship you have with them. In Japanese society it's kind of like they would wither much more quickly because their sense of self is so much dependent on their relationship so much more than it is in Western context for example.
