Is a Language Vulnerable?

There are some aspects that turned out to be hard to use. I won't say it's possible to learn, but they were harder to learn than other aspects of the language. The structure of comparison, for instance, changed a lot a few years ago. As we've seen as more and more languages become available to use as data in typology, we discover that universals are even weaker than we once thought.
