The Importance of Strength Training in Tendon Rehabilitation

Many people present with persistent tendon issues that truly are tendons, so they haven't been misdiagnosed. We need to really have strong muscles that attach to the tendons and when we rehabilitate these tendon injuries, we've got to move beyond body weight exercises and fluffy band stuff. The only time it's not necessary is when someone's activity levels don't mandate that they need a higher tissue strength. But nine times out of ten in the running population, we're going to need some heavy resistance stuff being done.
