What Did Boeing Win on the Trust Based Wing Concept?
Boeing has been awarded a $425 million contract to build the sustainable flight demonstrator. The design is called the transsonic high speed, trust braced wing, the TT BW. Boeing thinks that this on its own can reduce fuel consumption by about 9 or 10%.
