Riding out of the saddle is less efficient than riding in the saddle. It's just how it is because you're using more muscle. So, and it's less efficient, obviously aerodynamically. The climbs they do in the British hill climbs are super steep. If he could translate that better to in the seated power, he'd be doing more watts. Because it's more efficient. His bike setup is bananas. It looks like a beginner. He has spacers. He's got his hoods tilted right up.
