Why Deutsch Rejects the Omega Point Theory
In his view, if science can allow for the human aspirations that we've been talking about, in his mind, that's God. However, notice that he says forced, which really I think shows where Tiplier is coming from. He doesn't want to be an atheist. He wants to figure out how to come up with a scientific worldview that's not pessimistic.
