The Most Important Thing About Trend Following

FTX's track record over three very different periods, kind of the last 38 years. The returns are almost the annual levelized return, average annualized return is almost identical. But I think still the most important thing is not whether we can deliver X% return next year or the next five years. It's the fact that we do it in a non-correlated way,. That we can be positively correlated from time to time, negatively correlated when you need it the most, etc.
