The Differences Between Aristotle and Modern Virtue Ethics

Modern virtue ethics goes back to Aristotle, but it's different. Modern virtue ethicists tend to be what you might call common sense moralists. Because of the lack of reflection upon the nature of particular virtues and vices by modern virtue ethicists, they're actually much closer to common sense than Aristotle himself was.
