Money Is a Politics, Not a Science

Ron Paul: Money has become an instrument of politics and really an instrument of force. So we get money unbound from any backing by gold. We get monetary policy, so-called unhinged by any restraints. Then we get fiscal policy, which is untethered to tax revenue. You put all this in a blender and the dollar becomes this sort of mysterious thing that needs to be operated.
