The Importance of Taking Breaks at a Tech Company
I was working at a big tech company so much like it's not that hard I mean it's primarily just like zoom meeting status check-ins things move at an infinitely slower pace than they do in the startup world. The first year after the acquisition we had very very high like sales targets and other targets that we were trying to hit which caused consternation and dissatisfaction. Once that carrot was gone the job got to be like very easy very enjoyable, he says.
