The Disappointment of Roe v Wade
At the time, when Roe was first handed down, were their pro-life advocates, historians, kind of saying, hey, I don't actually think that history and tradition is as simple as maybe you presented it to be? In 1992, there was another famous Supreme Court case, Planned Parenthood versus Casey. A lot of pro-lifers at the time would tell you, oh, we thought for sure Roe v Wade was going down with that decision. But ultimately, that decision, it did allow for laws to restrict abortion, but it was almost as if the law actually made any significant impact on a woman's access that it wasn't okay. So then that obviously sparked decades of precedent
