I don't think whatever happens in Ukraine, Russia is going to go away as a major risk for countries. Particularly since the Russian Federation is not, I mean only about half of it is Russian,. It's actually a decayed or corroded relic of empire rather than a nation state. If the Federation actually fractured, you could have a release, a resource war and a Yugoslav type situation.
