Design Education in the 60s and 70s
As a high school student, I kind of became aware that I was not an artist, you know, taking art in high school. The real interior design major was in HOMAC - decorating,. You can sell furniture and department stores when you graduate it. And so, well, okay,Okay, I'll go into industrial design. And actually I'm glad I did because I think I got a slightly more conceptual framework and foundation in industrial design than any graphic design program in the country at that point.
