Maharashtra - A Different History
There was no strong anti-caste movement like you see in many other parts of the country, particularly Maharashtra. Gujarat has been different and there's a mercantilism which runs across communities. There is a sort of prosaic non-questioning that is prevalent so that has affected things there. The project for the Hindu-Rashtra and to revile and to discredit Gandhi in the land of his birth have been very important.
She began as a journalist in the pursuit of truth. She went on to embrace activism in the pursuit of justice.
