How to Run an Agile Team in the Middle of a Crisis?

People did surprisingly successful things in the middle of a crisis era. But now that the crisis has waned, people have reverted back to what they consider to be the norms. So leaders really have failed to adapt, or failed to use this opportunity to adapt - why is this time different? i think it's very a clear that the pandemic changed everybody's assumptions of how we live and work.
