Video game companies are capitalists unless you give them an opportunity to be a monopolist. They like the idea of deciding what the prices are and who can buy and sell. It's almost a primitive view on their part that if people are buying something in the secondary market, then they won't buy it in the primary market. So eventually- Why was that? Because is it just because it would make the gameplay uneven? And so from their perspective, did you ever see that?
