What Happened to Matthews Cowboy Boot?

Matthew Matthews was found dead in a neighbor's septic tank on January 13th, 1993. The employee who first removed the lid of the tank had seen an object that appeared to be nothing more than a coconut. He then realized it wasn't a coconut but a human skull - and not just any human skull. It took until January 13th of 1993 for Matthews' death to be officially ruled a homicide. His cowboy boot confirmed everyone's worst fears that Matthew had been abducted by a vicious predator right in plain sight.
