Short-Term Managers Are Good Additions to What We Do

There's only very, very few short-term managers where I would say, yeah, these are good additions to what we do. The problem is that they're easy to spot, meaning they have pretty large AUM already. And if there's one thing that can kill a short-term strategy is if the manager gets greedy in terms of their capacity and outgrow that. That kills alpha pretty quickly. But just because we like trend-following more, it doesn't mean that not a lot of people will try and do short-term. And that's great.
