I think the question on where antivirals fit into pandemic preparedness more broadly is a really interesting one and it's like still an open question in my mind I would like how much to update from COVID and vaccines given as you said right. There definitely seems to be space for antivirals and playing that partly so that they are like cheaper and also more accessible to lower income countries. Just because you have a vaccine doesn't mean that everybody and especially often the people who need it most have access to it, he says. He hopes that we have learned a lesson about the importance of proactively investing in vaccine research and development but this will require a persistent effort.
