The Importance of Listening Hard
There are lots of logical fallacies in the world. What's the most common one? Is it like a straw man argument? Honestly, I think it is. They're used deliberately by people to score rhetorical points on the person they're arguing with. So often we just don't listen hard enough to the person in front of us. We think we know what their position is because we've heard something similar from someone else before.
