The Death Instinct
I would argue that we are a society enthralled with a death instinct. And he said it is the rupturing of social bonds. That's where you get the term, enemy. When those social bonds are destroyed, that then people begin to act out in ways that are self destructive. So in that book, I look at the major ways within society, we are essentially destroying ourselves.
