The Qualifications of a Deacon

Deacons must be dignified, not double tongue, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. One thing we learn is that they're not called to teach the way the elders are called to teach. The more exceptional qualifications and most of those are reproduced with the elders. And it's apt to teach the Word.
