Introduction
Today is the feast of St. Maria Gretti, a martyr who was stabbed to death by her neighbor after he made an inappropriate advances on her. She said she would rather die than commit this impurity with him and forgave him. He spent 30 years in jail before asking his mother for forgiveness. This beautiful testament to forgiveness is what she gives us before she dies.
