The Importance of Political Stability in Guyana
The United States has a major interest in ensuring that there is sufficient stability to allow the economic opportunities pursued by American corporate interests. The Chinese, as you know the Chinese don't become preoccupied with the political and ideological. Brazil, the Leviathan of the whole neighborhood would want to see calm; so people proximate to Guyana and far away from Guyana and others would be interested in as much calm and stability even if only for economic self-interested business.
