The Importance of Quantitative Analysis
Data is a lot like jargon in that it could be very misleading. It can be very imprecise about what it's applying to. We need to have a constant reminder of what the data points are actually signifying. I just watched Tchaikovsky's stalker a magnificent movie, but I was reading right afterwards. The first review that comes up by Jeff Edgers says, a master class in boredom. Now that's not everybody's cup of tea, but I find the movie really generative and metaphorically beautiful.
