The Need for Libertarian Voices in the US
US fertility is on the decline. It is declining in a way similar to other developed nations. If you have sub-replacement level of fertility and it's not compensated by things like immigration, for instance, then you will have population, aging, and population decline over time. I think if fertility continues to decline or it stabilizes at a low level, there are likely to be some economic and fiscal trade-offs. We can expect that the US working age population will begin declining in the next decade.
