Thinking in English

CHAPTER

Should We Boycott the Qatar World Cup?

Alcohol is largely banned in Qatar and only available in a very few exclusive international hotels. FIFA announced just days before the tournament that they will no longer be selling beer in stadiums. And even if a fan is able to find a place selling beer, the prices are quite ridiculous, around $13 per drink. So should we boycott the Qatar World Cup? Personally, I think it's a really complicated issue. Billions of people love football and want to watch the best players competing against each other at the highest level. We want to support our countries and be entertained by the events on the pitch.
