The Importance of Understanding Which of the Three Types of Books It Is You're Writing

I have this mental model, it's called directions map landmark compass. The idea came from a Dan rhyme on the back of a napkin. And so now I use this mental model in pretty much every communications I think doing. Maps are my least favourite because they can be tricky to understand. Landmark books let you write about things like artificial intelligence and mountain climbing.
