Introduction
The coming of the day of the lord was powerfully presented in the preceding two chapters. The other nations will face a sort of judgement that judah itself had suffered earlier on its way to being established. It follows from the events foretold in chapter two, verse 28 where the spirit would be poured out upon the people.
