I just feel like there was this magical time in the 90s, for example. There's a really interesting explosion of more like classic, not classically trained, but contemporary music. And I'm just finding it harder to kind of trace those things now. It just feels like everything is so fractioned and split off. Like little universes, they don't kind of communicate with each other in the same way anymore. You know what I mean? So fragmented there are so many pockets of different genres.
