Is There a New Standard of Education?

The polgar's educational style is very different from the kind of tiger mum parenting style. It wasn't based on, you have to do this, and you're forced to do it. Rather, he was very careful in cultivating this motivating environment so that they would naturally become very curious and interested in chess. I don't think it was necessary the case that he was coercing his children but i do think that it just shows that there’s a lot of inertia and status quo s in how we approach learning. The goal with this book is not to make any definitive claims about, everyone can learn x, or, this is the new standard of what we should be teaching in schools
