I think about that a lot recently in relation to art works and and preserving them where there's not institutional interest, although obviously the work is important. I think also it's like this balance between, you know, you want competing ideas, but you also don't want a completely cut throat competition either. Once you do that, for example, i think one of the reasons that nobody is really truthful now is that the only way to survive in the current climate is to join a kind of political tribe. If you are part of a political tribe, then you have the protection of that group. But if you just decide, i'm just a truth seeker, and i'm going to go out
