Beybars is the Sultan of Egypt and Syria, but he was a slave as a child. He's one of the main commanders in the army that destroys the seventh crusade. Beybars comes from to the north of the Black Sea where his people were called kipchak. His people had moved westwards over the centuries, filling these great gaps in the steps.
