The Tipping Point That Made Me Take It Seriously
When you're 13 years old, the notion of I'm going to write a symphony is so pretentious and absurd. So that's what I wanted to do. And then I started getting into it and wanted to write more things. It just kind of made sense for me to try to learn how to write for different sizes of ensembles and like, you know, do the arrangements for the bands I was playing in.
