I always say no sudden moves when it comes to your life savings. And this isn't the kind of thing you should do in isolation because it's going to affect your family members. If you feel that kind of road to Damascus moment where suddenly you have a complete change of mindset and you want to completely change everything overnight, it's usually best to have a cooling off period before you do that. You may find out that you've got serious illness and your investment horizons changed. Now you have to think about essentially legacy and handing over the portfolio.
