The Expulsion of the Gypsies From Spain
Ferdinand and Isabella expelled the gypsies from Grenada in 1499. They were suspicious of them because they weren't paying any taxes. So Ferdinand and Isabella said that either they had to settle in one place and make a proper living so that they paid their taxes justifiably or they had to leave. In a way they were another marginalized and persecuted group, either Catholic monarchs, just like the Jews were as well.
