The American Welfare System Is So Unrepresentative of the People

It's so hard to do anything in this country that like, shit just piles up. We've been trying to create a kind of universal medicare for all system since the 19 thirties. The political pressure could sort of spurt through and you could get little piecemeal reforms here and there. Now it's nothing. If you don't have your trifecta, which happens like once a decade, basically, am then you can’t do much at all.
