What Was JP Morgan Like Back in the 90s?
In the 90s, there was some question as to JP Morgan's leadership and its ability to compete with the biggest investment banks at the time. I think that it kind of ran its course being a very good investment bank or universal bank, but not quite where it could be. The way that they ran their business model was much more regional and I was a global business manager. And we shared the responsibility of trying to grow credit Suisse from a kind of a niche investment bank in the business to a bigger player.
